We are excited to launch an Orchestra for students 18 and under who can play an orchestral instrument at grade 4 or above. We will play a variety of styles including Film Music, Classical and more popular styles including pop and musical theatre. The aim of the group is to have fun playing together as a group, but also to play to a good standard. It will be conducted by Edward Reeves and Richard Fisher, and we will have regular sectionals with instrumental specialists. We will perform at local eventsin the Farnham area, on our annual European tour and our FMD concerts.
A New Youth Orchestra for the Farnham area
We will rehearse on Saturdays 12.15pm – 1.45pm at More House School and there will be a 15 minute break to eat a packed lunch and socialise.
