The FMD Youth Orchestra is for students 18 and under who can play an orchestral instrument at grade 4 or above. They play a variety of styles including Film Music, Classical and more popular styles including pop and musical theatre. The aim of the group is to have fun playing together as a group, but also to play to a high standard. It will be conducted by Edward Reeves and Richard Fisher, and we have regular sectionals with instrumental specialists. We perform at local events in the Farnham area, on our annual European tour, and at our FMD concerts.

Rehearsals are on Saturdays 12.15pm – 1.45pm at the FMD Studio and there will be a 15 minute break to eat a packed lunch and socialise.
